Services
We have established ourselves as one of the leading companies in the fireworks disposable business. We continue to provide companies and government agencies with a highly cost effective and safe alternative for the disposal of fireworks.

All disposal methods adhere to federal, state, and local regulations throughout the entire disposal process. All costs and realized savings are based on the size, weight, location, and condition of the total shipment and disposal methods required.  As always, our services can be customized to match your specific requirements or available funding.

Discretionary Service
Fireworks are released to Liberty Disposal for removal from your possession. At our discretion, a determination will be made as to the best method of disposal for each item. Disposal methods could range from donation to charitable organization, detonation by trained company officials, testing purposes, gunpowder extraction, retail sales, and more.  Clients have found this service to be the most cost effective. Liberty Disposal will:

          • Provide all documentation prior to shipping.
          • Pick up the confiscated fireworks directly from your possession.
          • Provide a report detailing the items seized, class, and weight.
          • Discretionary disposal method will be chosen.

Not all confiscated fireworks qualify under this service.  Proper inventory of confiscated merchandise can depend on the size of the seizure and may take up to 90 days to produce a detailed report.

Destruction Service
Improper storage and destruction of fireworks can expose an agency to various safety and environmental risks. Liberty Disposal properly destroys and takes special steps in the areas of security, legal compliance and accountability.  This method is the least cost effective performed by Liberty Disposal, but is much more affordable when compared to other hazardous waste methods. Liberty Disposal will:

          • Charge the agency for the confiscated merchandise based on
size, weight, condition, classification, and transportation (price
per pound and transportation costs may vary).
          • Provide all documentation prior to shipping.
          • Pick up confiscated fireworks directly from your possession.
          • Provide a report detailing the items seized, class, and weight.
          • Destroy fireworks by proper means in controlled areas and in
accordance with all State and Federal laws.

Not all confiscated fireworks qualify under this service.  Proper inventory of confiscated merchandise can depend on the size of the seizure and may take up to 90 days to produce a detailed report.

Our consulting service can help solve any problems you may have regarding the proper handling, storage, and disposal of confiscated fireworks. We can also assist with any regulatory compliance or environmental liability issues that you may have. Liberty Disposal will:

          • Assist with proper BATF regulated explosive storage for confiscated fireworks.
          • Help to better identify and manage environmental risks.

Our consulting service is free if you use our Discretionary Service.

Retention Service
With Liberty Disposal’s retention service your seized merchandise is properly identified, photographed, classified, and legally stored for future action.  Whether determined that all or a portion of the seized merchandise is returned or requires disposal, items in our possession will remain unaltered until we receive a signed release that will determine our next course of action.

As an added benefit, a portion of your upfront fees associated with our retention service could be credited to your disbursement should you continue to utilize Liberty Disposal’s services for that seizure.

          • Provide all documentation prior to shipping.
          • Pick up confiscated materials directly from your possession.
          • Provide a report detailing the items seized, photos, class, and weight.
          • Seizure rightfully or wrongfully confiscated.
          • Charge agency accordingly for services used.

Service-Exchange Service
LDS has created a service-exchange program for businesses in the fireworks trade industry.  LDS will provide a service in exchange for goods from your business.  The service-exchange program can help alleviate costs associated with the disposal process.  Additional details may be required for finalized terms and pricing.  If you have any questions or would like to review this proposal in greater detail, please don't hesitate to contact us.
